Welcome to the new joebresler.com!... first of all...

..it's nice to be back writing to y'all...I've been doing a lot of things lately, one of them being the audio show Prerecorded Friends, and many times I forget to write anything 'cause I end most days with a pretty empty brain...I'm working on it, friends, I'll be here a lot from now on...

The song "Stay For Christmas Day" is now available for download on this site, and I hope you enjoy it, it is not however, the beginning of "The Joe Bresler Christmas Album" or any silliness like that..I don't foresee any album covers where I'm sitting by the fireplace with a glass of wine in a turtleneck sweater....(maybe holding a martini in a speedo, but that's for another time...)

The song, however, will be a sign of things to come in another way...the stripped down musical approach may very well be indicative of how the next record comes out...I think most of my songs are stronger when the lyrics and vocals are out front, and I'm very excited to record them with that mindset...

anyways, enjoy the song, enjoy the holidays, and expect a lot from me in 2008, 'cause I sure as hell do....

talk soon,

joe

Glad to see the sites up and running. Love the new song. I've been refining a best of 2007 list for all the songs I've accumulated on Itunes this year. That may be the fourth Joe Bresler song on the 50 track best of 2007 mix (the other three songs are California King, Grey Sky Blue, and Melonardo...although flight and ghosts almost made the cut). Good luck with the new site and come tour in San Diego so we can have a SD PRF party.
